CNN Host Forced To Shut Down Live Show, As Guest Exposes Their Fake News On The Air
Anyone that was watching the mainstream media during the days leading up to the presidential election could tell that they were biased. Everything that the media has done was in an effort to attack Donald Trump and support then-Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
It was clear in the way that they reported news, events, and even extracurricular activities that the two candidates were engaging in. It was made more abundant after the mainstream media failed to cover any of the WikiLeaks stories that came out, only bothering to say that someone hacked the email accounts.
Mainstream media journalists from the big networks, like ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN have all played a part in a recently coined term known as “fake news.” It’s when the media continues to report on a narrative that isn’t true while avoiding stories that are true because they go against what the media wants.
CNN was arguably the biggest contributor of “fake news,” and they have been increasingly frustrated with the amount of people that continue to say that about their network. It reached a breaking point last Friday when CNN host Don Lemon cut his show quickly after a commentator continued to claim that a story they were covering was “fake news.”
The story in question was about the cost of Trump’s visits to Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. After other panel members had had their turn giving their opinions, Lemon gave Paris Dennard, a political analyst and commentator that formally served in the George W. Bush administration a chance to speak.
However it took a turn when Dennard immediately said, “I think this is fake news. This is not a news story.” It is, considering they were discussing the cost of Trump’s visits to his own resort. Then again, this is CNN being discussed, and they are more than happy to report on a fake news story if it slams Trump in any way possible.
The three other panel members spent time slamming the decision and bringing the cost into question while Dennard was doing his best to defend him. “The president is not breaking any laws, and he’s not doing anything.” The reason for that incomplete thought was because Lemon interrupted him.
Among the other jeers from the panelists, Lemon went on a rant about how this wasn’t fake news and they should stop calling stories that. He first asks Dennard “Do you actually know what the definition of fake news is?”
Dennard replies, “What we’re doing right now.” It’s a humorous response, one that Lemon didn’t take lightly.
“Let me explain to people out there watching and you what fake news is. Fake news is when you put out a story to intentionally deceive someone and you know that it is wrong. I don’t know of anyone who has put out a story in the mainstream media, that I can think of right now, to intentionally deceive anyone.”

He then went on to say that sometimes reporters get details wrong, but they are not intentionally misleading anyone. His rant finally ends with this last claim.
“This story that we’re doing right now is not to intentionally deceive anyone. We are simply talking about the cost to keep a president safe. Please stop it with that stupid talking point, that it is a fake news story. If you don’t want to participate in the news stories on this network, then don’t come on and participate. But don’t call them fake because you don’t’ agree with them. Go on.”
It was then that Dennard said once again that “this is a fake news story,” and that led Lemon to actually shut down the entire program. “OK, Paris, thank you very much everyone. Thanks, everyone, thanks for watching. Have a great weekend. Goodnight, all.”
Lemon had enough of the “fake news” claims. That’s probably because CNN has had several incidents where they were part of the “fake news” train. They were literally caught spreading a fake Muslim video to audiences. They were also part of the news crew that discussed at length about Russia’s supposed involvement in the election.
They continue to talk about Russia and how they “helped” Trump win the election and yet there has been absolutely no proof showing that at all. There is no proof to offer and yet CNN never fails to mention that there is still a possibility it happened. That is about as fake a news story as they can get.
Meanwhile they were also talking about a story before the inauguration of Trump discussing the possibilities that would happen should Trump be assassinated. Why CNN felt the need to talk about something like that literally the day before the election and make a big deal out of it shows that they were hoping he wouldn’t get into the White House.
Share this article to show everyone that CNN wasn’t real happy with the idea of another one of their stories being labeled “fake news.” However with a record like CNN has with reporting on fake news and literally supporting one candidate over the other in a non-partisan manner, it’s easy to see why nobody believes them.
